One Life Food Pantry

In 2020 we opened a Food Pantry (formally known as the Blessing Box) in our parking lot, in partnership with a local organization. This partnership has recently come to an end but we have decided to keep this ministry open and operating going forward. This means that our church is now responsible for filling the Food Pantry each week. There are so many people in our community who struggle to put a meal on the table every day and the Food Pantry is a place where they can come anonymously, without any red tape, and find the supplies they need to feed themselves and a family.

Here’s the the mission statement for the Food Pantry going forward: Through the Food Pantry we are committed to fostering a compassionate and generous community where individuals and families have access to basic food supplies that can help put a meal on their table and be reminded that God can and will provide everything they need.

Here’s where you come in! We need individuals and families who are willing to put supplies in the Food Pantry each week. Click the link below to sign up for a date that you are willing to do this in the fall. You’ll also find a list of supplies that can help you know what is best to put in the Food Pantry.

Leadership Greenhouse

Leadership Greenhouse is a time of fellowship, learning, and training for the One Life Overseers, staff, ministry team leaders, and volunteers as we continue doing the work God has entrusted to us. It's an opportunity to show appreciation for, encourage, and celebrate everyone who helps make OLC special.

Our next Greenhouse is scheduled for Sunday, September 15th at the church from 5 pm-7 pm. Dinner will be served and there will be childcare available if needed.

Practicing the Way - Fall Teaching Series

The modern church is facing a crisis of discipleship to Jesus. Many people believe that following Jesus means attending church, doing the right things, not doing the wrong things and knowing the right stuff. But what if it’s so much more than that?

At One Life we’re convinced it’s not that people don’t want to become like Jesus, or that people aren’t trying to become like Jesus. It’s that we don’t know how to become like Jesus.

Over the next few weeks, we’re going to explore a a pathway, a way of living that teaches us to become an apprentice of Jesus: living in relationship with him, learning from him, being transformed by him and participating in his ongoing work in the world.
