Weekly Update

This is your place to stay connected with what’s happening at One Life Church. Check back each week for events, opportunities to serve, and ways to grow together as a church family.

Teaching Series: Transformed

What does it actually look like to be transformed?

In this new series, we’ll walk through Romans 12 and explore how God reshapes our lives from the inside out. This is not about behavior modification. It’s about a renewed mind, a surrendered life, and a community that reflects the heart of Jesus in everyday ways.

Week by week, we’ll move through the chapter together—looking at what it means to offer ourselves to God, live with humility, use our gifts, love genuinely, and respond to the world in a radically different way.

Join us as we discover the kind of transformation that is not just personal, but communal and visible in how we live.

One Life Orientation

Blurb:Want to learn more about who we are and how to get connected? Join us for One Life Orientation on May 17 at 8:45am.

This one-hour gathering is a great next step if you’re new or simply want to go deeper. You’ll hear about the heart behind One Life Church—our mission, values, and what it looks like to be part of this community.

We’ll share breakfast, spend some time together, and make space for your questions. Childcare is available if needed.

Annual Tea and Trade

It’s time for our Third Annual Tea & Trade! Join us on May 1 from 6:00–8:00pm at The Collective!

Clean out your closets and bring gently used clothes, kids’ items, and home goods to share. Then enjoy “shopping” what others have brought—take home something new-to-you while connecting with friends (no money needed- it’s all free).

Bring a friend along and make a night of it! Any leftover items will be donated to a local women’s shelter, so your generosity keeps going.

Summer Jam Save the Date and Volunteer Sign Up

Mark your calendars for July 28–30 because Summer Jam is coming! This year’s theme is Road Trip, and we’ll be discovering what it means that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life.

Yes, it’s only April… but Summer Jam is our biggest event of the year, and it takes our whole church family to make it happen. If you already know you’re planning to serve, would you let us know now? Getting volunteers lined up early helps us plan well and create the best possible experience for our kids and community.

We truly need all hands on deck. Whether you love leading games, helping with crafts, welcoming families, or working behind the scenes, there’s a place for you on this road trip.

Save the date. Start praying. And if you’re in, go ahead and sign up!

Monthly Finances

As part of our commitment to transparency, we regularly share updates about the financial life of our church. Moving forward, we will no longer include financial numbers in the weekly update or on the website.

Instead, we will send a monthly financial update by email to those who subscribe to our newsletter. This allows us to share more helpful context and keep our church family informed about how resources are being stewarded.
